CENTRAL EUROPE BY RAIL
In collaboration with Rail Europe, this journal was originally published by the Gap Year Company in August 2005. From Amsterdam to Bucharest, my whirlwind European tour took in seven countries and was conducted almost entirely by train. From Mexico City to Panama City, an extensive nine month voyage is documented in this journal. Self-published on the road in 2003, these raw notes attempt to capture the vibrant heart of Central America. From mysterious Mayan ruins to crumbling colonial cities: music, mystery and colour were ever-present in the wild and shifting landscape. |
